Parking

Cheapest: Ecopark is $6.47/day (plus tax) for covered parking, and $4.62/day (plus tax) for uncovered parking.

Most convenient: Hourly parking rates in the terminal parking garages are $2 for the first hour up to a maximum of $17 per day.

Wi-Fi

The Houston Airport System offers limited Free Wi-Fi Internet access at George Bush Intercontinental and Hobby Airports that includes real-time flight information and a log on screen for further Wi-Fi access beyond the free interface through Boingo.

Ground Transportation

Bus: The cheapest way to get around Houston is the Metro bus line. Route 102 serves the airport and downtown. Find buses on Terminal C's south end.


Shuttle: SuperShuttle vans can be found next to baggage claim.


Taxis: Cabs can be found outside each baggage claim area. Houston cabs must charge a flat-zone rate or the meter rate, whichever is less; for example, a ride from IAH to downtown Houston would be about $44.50, excluding surcharges. Senior citizens get a 10 percent discount.
