Use Taxis/Transportation Update/Tip
If you're flying into Newark Liberty (EWR), the rental cars are WAY higher than if you take ground transportation and pick up/return your car elsewhere. I have scheduled to ride the hotel shuttle and reserved a subcompact at the AVIS counter at the hotel, and the 10-day rental rate was ONE THIRD the price of renting at EWR.
