Use Taxis/Transportation Update/Tip
Washington - Reagan National (DCA) has direct access to the Metro Sub System. This system is excellent, and relatively inexpensive.
Once you get on Metro you can then travel to most of the major locations in DC and suburbs. And you cna even jump onto the local commuter train systems: VRE in Virginia (Manassas & Fredericksburg) and Metra in MD.
Obviously you can also, if your schedules are convenient, take VRE or MEtra all the way to National.
