There is a "Food Court" at the far left side of Terminal C (United, Jet Blue) that has quite a few healthy and alternative choices. Salads, yogurts, sandwiches, even green tea. It's also the "kiddie port" play place for kids - so there is lots of room to spread out and eat for big and small peeps.
